HULL 0, WEST HAM 2
The Hammers wore special poppy shirts to honour the Royal British Legion
Young Danny Potts was in the matchday 16 for the first time
The first half proved closely fought with John Carew often crowded out
But Carlton Cole helped inspire an early second-half goal for Sam Baldock
While Robert Green was simply magnificent when ever called upon
Jack Collison had soon made it two after a terrific team move
James Tomkins, great at the back, was quick to celebrate
George McCartney helped keep things tight in defence
Frederic Piquionne was one of two late changes to shore things up
The impressive Abdoulaye Faye joined young Danny Potts to thank the fans
Big Sam was all smiles come the final whistle
